Purpose Statement
The Evangelism Cooperative exists 1) To unite evangelistically passionate disciples and ministries in a network of support and 2) To assist the WPA Conference Evangelism Team to promote the work of evangelism by equipping and encouraging principled leaders into spiritually adventurous outreach in the WPAUMC for the transformation of the world.

Descriptions
Western PA Conference Evangelism Team – An area under the direction of the Conference Board of Discipleship responsible to plan and promote an effective, comprehensive ministry of evangelism for people of all ages.
General Evangelist – An ordained minister under fulltime appointment to an extension ministry in evangelism.
Conference Evangelist – A lay person approved by the Evangelism Team to serve fulltime in evangelistic ministry.
Local Evangelist – A lay or clergy person recognized by the Evangelism Team for his/her passion, call, and gifts in evangelism.
Associate Member– Individuals, churches, groups, ministries, para-church ministries who relate to the Evangelism Cooperative for the work of evangelism.
Mailing List – A database of interested individuals/ministries who desire to receive communication from the Evangelism Cooperative.
